Who We Are

A. Prodromou & Co Ltd, was founded in 1980 in Larnaca, Cyprus. Its founder, Mr. Andreas Prodromou qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1970 with Coopers (now known as Pricewaterhouse Coopers) in Birmingham, UK. He was the first Cypriot immigrant from Birmingham to qualify as a Chartered Accountant. He continued to work with Coopers, UK, as an auditor until 1972 and until 1973 worked for Coopers in Athens, Greece. Mr. Prodromou then moved to Cyprus where he worked as a Manager for Russell & Co. (now known as Ernst &Young), and as a financial controller for KMC (makers of trucks and buses) and Pharos Estates. During 1979 he worked in Muscat, Oman as an auditor for Kostaris Michaelides and upon his return to Cyprus in 1980 established his own private firm.

With a career spanning over 35 years of experience, Mr. Prodromou has established himself as one of the most successful Chartered Accountants in Cyprus. He is known for having won an exceptionally complex tax case for one of his clients which is now taught as a case study at the University of Cyprus.
